Hotel Lobby: CBRE Hotels (formerly PKF Consulting), a leader in the field of hotel economics, studied One Beverly Hills and concluded that the hotel will generate more than $8.7 million a year in new revenue for the City of Beverly Hills at hotel stabilization. This new funding can support police, fire, street maintenance and other vital city services. One Beverly Hills will also create new ongoing sources of revenue for Beverly Hills’ schools.

01 Dec One Beverly Hills has been approved!

We are proud to announce that the One Beverly Hills project has been fully approved by the Beverly Hills City Council.

We want to thank all of the City leaders and residents who supported us and who have helped us move forward with this incredible addition to our City. The Wanda Group and The Athens Group, along with Richard Meier and Partners Architects, are excited to bring the improved plan for One Beverly Hills to life in the coming years.

The Supplemental Environmental Impact Report, amended Specific Plan for the Project, and amended Development Agreement for the project were approved after extensive review by our elected and appointed officials and City staff, and we are pleased that the process helped to improve our project.

The amended One Beverly Hills Development Agreement, — provides unmatched benefits, resulting in an additional $560 Million in payments to the City of Beverly Hills over the next 30 years. You can read the City’s full press release about the agreement here.

Mayor John Mirisch stated, “Without any doubt this is by far the best development agreement ever negotiated for Beverly Hills, and possibly the richest development agreement per square foot negotiated anywhere by a municipality…the revenue will help fund infrastructure improvements, public safety and cultural programs that will ensure that Beverly Hills remains an ideal city for residents, businesses and visitors.”

“Our residents and businesses will benefit from this agreement for generations,” said Councilmember Bosse, who co-led the negotiations for the Development Agreement for the City Council. “I am so thrilled that we were able to negotiate this extraordinary agreement recognizing the unique value and appeal of investing in the future of Beverly Hills.”

We will keep you updated on construction and are proud that One Beverly Hills will become the iconic western gateway to the City of Beverly Hills!
